My econ folder from college. Macroeconomics was kind of interesting, but frustratingly imprecise compared to engineering physics. Micro just plain sucked.

I had always hoped the attics and closets of Ann Arbor would cough up a vintage Bonnie Cashin, and finally they did. A rare suede and fur number, found at Kiwanis, for $20.

Found! Chinese calligraphy kit for $12 at the Treasure Mart in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Look at all these precious artifacts! I am just itching to learn what it’s all for and how to use it. Chinese calligraphy looks like a beautiful, ritualistic pursuit.

Steve Hughes’ Stupor zine is available at Design 99 Gallery in Hamtramck (Detroit), Michigan. Each zine is filled with brief, sometimes haunting, stories collected from people from all walks of life, and illustrated with Steve’s collages and drawings. A lot of wonderful stuff to look at and think about, for a dollar!
